Charles Casey #35

Charles was born on July 14, 1954 in Alexandria, Virginia.  His parents were George and Addie Casey.  Charles was the youngest of seven children.  He attended public schools in Alexandria, Virginia.  While attending T.C. Williams High School he was active in football, basketball and track. 

He graduated from T.C. Williams in 1972.  From 1972 to 1976 Charles attended Hampton University in Hampton, Virginia where he received a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.  From 1976 to 1978 he worked as Deputy Sheriff in Prince George's County Maryland.  Then from 1978 to 1982 he worked for the Department of Corrections in Prince George's County.  In 1982 he returned to school to study law at Antioch School of Law in Washington, DC. , where he received his Juris Doctorate in Law in 1985. 

Since graduating from law school Charles has been working for various government agencies in a number of capacities (labor, EEO, legal advisor).  Charles is presently working for the Department of Defense and currently residing in Fort Washington, Maryland.  Charles is a proud parent of three boys and is married to Sandra Merrill-Casey who is an Educator in the Alexandria public school system.
