Derick Ricardo Hopson #11

Derick Hopson wore #11 on the 1971 Original Titans team. His love for sports began at a very early age. He played football, basketball and baseball. Later in his career, Derick ran track in high school and college.

Derick, who was fondly known as Suger Babe to his teammates, attended Virginia Union University in Richmond, Virginia. He obtained a degree in business administration.

At present, Derick lives in Richmond with his wife, Wanda, and operates his own painting and wall covering business.
